Working principle of gantry crane hoisting mechanism

The electric motor of the crane is connected together through the coupling and reducer, and it works through the rotation of the low-speed shaft of the reducer to make the reel and the hook combined with the wire rope and so on. When the motor works, it rotates in different positive and negative directions to transfer the motion to the reel, and then the reel rolls in or releases the wire rope to make the hook hoist the weight up or down, and the basic principle is that the rotation of the motor is converted into the lifting and lowering motion of the weight. When braking is performed in the event of a sudden power failure, the load will stop at the specified position. When the hoist reaches the limit position, it will touch the limiter to stop the movement of the hook.
